It is a guide to all things that can be recycled and where they can be recycled in Indianapolis! I encourage everyone to check this out even if you don't live in Indy, this will give you ideas for places to look for, Some places that accept recyclable items or even that places that will take used items for charity and the like. I was so excited to see something like this on the web!

City of Lawrence and Beyond
I am a resident of the City of Lawrence in Indianapolis, IN. The recycling options here have become much better after the last 5 years. If you are a resident of Lawrence, IN, it provides to you a bi-weekly curbside recycling pickup for residents of homes in the area. Each private residence served by the City of Lawrence Sanitation Department will be provided with a recycling bn
A list of what is picked up is below:
#1 Plastics including soda bottles, cooking oil bottles, and peanut butter containers
#2 Plastics including milk jugs and detergent bottles
Glass Jars and Bottles: clear, brown, and green
Aluminum Containers
Steel Beverage and Food Containers
Newspapers and Magazines
Corrugated Cardboard and Press Board
Junk Mail and White Paper
Check with your local city or town for curbside recycling options. some you have to pay for but, others you dont, the City of Lawrence has free curbside pickup.
